Day by day

I never knew life or school could be such a challenge.
However, if you focus on the current day you can easily find joy, strength, and God.

SPRING BREAK!

This past week has been great just being away from the chaos of school! I was able to be productive during the day and then spend time with my family in the evening. Here are some of the joys from the week!

1. GETTING TO SEE MY DOGS!
I forget how much I miss them and how nice it is to be around animals.

I cannot believe how nice it was! There could not have been better weather for spring break!

3. I GOT DAD AND DAWN BOTH HOOKED ON CAMELBAKS!

4. EATING ENDLESS AMOUNTS OF DOVE PROMISES!
We always have a stash in the cupboard :)

5. CELEBRATING MOM'S BIRTHDAY!

I was so glad it fell over spring break so I could spend it with her.
We went to JMK Nippons on Saturday to celebrate with my grandparents!

6. FIRSTS OF THE SEASON: ICED COFFEE && THUNDERSTORMS
It finally got warm enough to enjoy an iced coffee this week.
(Can you believe I didn't get starbucks though??)
Last night I woke up to any awesome lights show and rain on my window!
(Can't wait for many more to come this summer!!!)

NOW IT'S TIME TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL!
I am so not ready for this! Booo!
But on the brightside I get to see my wonderful boyfriend today!!

A long await

Helloooooo!
It has been awhile. I know.
School has been absurdly busy and crazy, gah!!

I think I am going to stick with the recent highlights again :)



1. As I mentioned how crazy life has been, I have upgraded to the "Venti" choice at starbucks.

2. This week was my LAST DAY EVER at MedSurg clinical!!!

3. I got Jimmy concert tickets to Brad Paisley for his birthday.

We finally got to use them a couple weeks ago and it was SO MUCH FUN!

I seriously need to find more country concerts to go to. They are the best!

4. Jimmy recently joined an intramural floor hockey team with his friends.

It has been an absolute blast to watch him!

Not only is he a great defenseman (and offense...he scored wednesday!), but

he gets so fierce and into it. Their testosterone is definitely pumping out there!

5. A mint chocolate cupcake...WOW!

Ricky's girlfriend made them for us and she is fantastic!

I support her idea to open up a bakery! (You would too after eating one of these!!)

5. Oh...the best news yet...I GOT AN INTERNSHIP!!!

I was offered a position in the NICU at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

It includes 8 weeks full time this summer, then shifts whenever I am available during

the school year, AND a full time job after graduation. Seriously such a blessing from God.

PRAISE GOD! I am so excited to see what He has in store for me!

 That is all I have to update so far. I am so ready to go home for Spring Break and spend time with my family. Hopefully I can get a break from studying (for a bit) hahah...is that even possible???!!!
